Mentor Connect
A core part of our vision at WICT UK & IRELAND is to support the career advancement of women working within the telecoms, media and technology industries.
Our members benefit from being able to access Mentor Connect, our programme which offers developmental opportunities for both mentors and mentees, as well as creating opportunities for corporate sponsors to leverage the WICT UK programme to align with their own people development programmes.
What’s New for 2026
A structured programme for 2026 with continuous support throughout
Primarily virtual, with optional face-to-face opportunities at WICT UK & Ireland events
An expanded mentor pool, including new mentors recommended by our Sponsors and Board
Clear guidance and best practices on goal-setting and strategy to help mentors and mentees get the most from their sessions, through our partnership with Borderless
The commitment: Mentors will commit to a minimum of six one-hour sessions over the course of nine months, Mentees will be responsible for driving their own goals and meeting agendas, and the WICT Mentoring team will be providing guidance to help both parties maximise their experience.
